In the previous writing, I showed how it seemed pop culture has pushed people towards secularism. The framers of the Constitution wanted MINIMAL government interference in our lives. Over time, government did what government does, and grow like a giant monster. The Chevron doctrine in 1984 essentially made our government at the federal level to bloat to an enormous size. Anyone who looked at our spending and debt since 1971 can see how this has just grown exponentially. In our economy, there are essentially two ways to “create” money.

  1. Gov issues debt and creates money.
  2. Public borrows money into existence using the fractional reserve system

These are the big ones for now – there are some other ways but it’s not important for this discussion.

When government spends your tax money, it is providing services with money already created. This is the free market system. You borrow money, buy things, and pay it back over time. This creates velocity because as you spend this money – it goes to everyone who provided that service. What people do not understand, is that money is destroyed when the debt is paid off. This is understanding the concept of M2. When YOU borrow money, you may pay off a house note over 30 years. The BANK creates that money – out of thin air – and when that note is paid off, that currency is destroyed. What remains is a house – but the value of that house is $0 unless there is currency in the system. The less currency, the lower the value of the house, and the reverse is true with more currency. The “value” of your house doesn’t increase over 30 years. What has increased is the M2 money supply, and the RELATIVE VALUE measured in DOLLARS for your house is compared to the value of all other assets, and the free market decides where this goes.

Of interest, when the government borrows – they are borrowing against FUTURE TAXES. But a funny thing happens. Assume you buy a house for $300,000 – the interest rates then determine that over 30 years, you will have to pay back $500,000. You borrowed $300,000 but where do you get the other $200,000? And, assume over 30 years this is paid off – you then have to assume the M2 money supply grew at a rate that allows the VALUE of your home to at least track.

Government has done this when they deficit spend. And with this, we are now feeding a beast that needs us to borrow more and more and more money so they can pay off their notes from OUR tax money. This means we need prices to go vertical. But your wages are stagnant. Policy has restricted businesses – and thus jobs have been leaving our shores for 40 years. We have hollowed out the country – and only those that took big risks and borrowed to create massive companies are doing well.

One key aspect of Christianity is to not be in debt. Do not covet what others have. On a grand scale, the government machine of controlling you is being fed by forcing you away from Christian values of not having debt. We are being turned into a nation of borrowers, and with this, it has turned the people into slaves of the government. To feed this beast, the government needed to convert the nation from a Judeo Christian nation to a secular nation.

This is the mapping I created from the previous writing.

I remember when I was younger, it was sort of a big deal for NYPD blue to show Andy’s ass on screen at 10:30 at night on a Tuesday. Over time, more and more racy items were shown on TV. One of my favorite shows growing up was called “Highway to Heaven” – the guys from the Little House on the Prarie got together and made a show about an angel. TV was more wholesome. We all sat around the TV every night and consumed media as a FAMILY. We had this TV that would turn yellow and my brother or I would have to get up and kick the left side of it to get the picture back ok. Our cable box had a line to the TV (not radio/wireless) and we had like 30 channels. Both sets of my grandparents were still on black and white antenna TVs.

The culture started promoting so much on commercials to buy. Slowly, the culture started going from worshipping God to worshipping giant houses (lifestyles of the rich and famous), famous people (MTV cribs), and more and more skin made its way into “normal” TV. This pushed cable boundaries more where things like Cinemax was called “skinemax”. As the culture began to covet what other people had, more and more – people borrowed more money. Credit became cheaper. We essentially outspent the Soviets to winning. But as we did that, more and more tax revenue came in. Gov bureaucracy continued to grow exponentially in size, and the church started to become less relevant and “hip” to younger people. I remember being a 12 year old in church and seeing 90% of the people there with white hair. What it LOOKED like to me was a bunch of old people trying to take favor with God before they died. Obviously I was wrong, but I began to see church like that.

The internet really started to be available to most of us in our homes with dial up services for like $4 an hour through things like America Online. This was connected over your phone lines. We used to call friends and family on long distance – and now everyone’s phones were busy. And, when you eventually made your way online, you could now have unlimited access to pornography.

I don’t want to make this a step by step dissertation on how pop culture eventually subversed the influence of the church, but over the course of the 50 years I have had on this earth, I have bore witness to how TV went from “wholesome” to perhaps the most sickening and disgusting concepts ever caught on media with “The Boys”. I enjoy a lot about that show, but let’s face it – 14-15 year old kids are probably going to be watching it. And, as a child, I remember the big deal with the rapped NWA with the language issues on their albums and the lawsuits with that. I remember the old “fuddy duddies” from Christianity trying to keep bad language off of albums and off of airwaves.

Our culture has eroded.

I have seen more wholesome types of programming now these days and I believe that there is a massive market for it. I went and saw a movie made by “Angel Studios” last year. I love post apocalyptic type of stuff – and as a prepper, it tickled me to see things like gold backs in it. But there was no real cursing. They prayed in the movie because bad stuff was happening. A love interest between teens looked like innocent courting and not some skinemax special.

I wanted more of that type of programming, and I felt the product and idea had so much potential long term, that I invested in Angel Studios. Yes, I am an investor!

When I think of Christian music – I grew up seeing people who were socially awkward talking about Jesus in every other line of a song. What bothered me about Christian music was that it lack symbolism. It had the structure of a 3rd grader just trying to cobble together words so you just had every other word as Jesus and all songs were like country music in the sense that country music all blended together to sound the exact same, and all had the same idea of pickup trucks and bodies of water.

When I was in church, I played my trumpet a few times – the old school religious songs. The pop religious songs I kind of don’t want a part of.

While I get that people want to sign about their faith – their lack of symbolism is quite stunning and it mostly becomes the same thing modern country has become – a formula.

The other night I was talking to my wife more about all of this, and she was like – “maybe you might like this Blake Shelton song”. Ughhhh… Country. I like SOME country, but overall, I find it all to be lacking in diversity of sound and ideas. It’s sort of like watching the first action movies in the 1980s. How do you justify a man to go on a murderous rampage? Kill his brother. His family. Eventually – they killed kids. The Punisher wiped out his entire gene pool. But John Wick went to the edge – and killed his dog, so Neo could then murder 500 people. The first action movie I can recall was I was a kid and we went to see Conan the Barbarian.

So my CULTURE growing up enforced that if someone hurt my family, society would justify me going on a murderous rampage. That’s sort of why I back the NRA lol. No one is going to get that chance.

But I digress.

This song has everything someone like me needs during this journey. It has a modern country superstar singing. But it has a lot of symbolism. Complexity. And enough gray area so anyone who is new to this can find a meaning in the song unique to them. This is what literally all Christian music misses the note on. And why none of that music really caught on. This video has the lyrics shown – but also has visuals of the symbolism for people like me to understand a literal meaning of the words – but it is structured so everyone can have their own relationship with this song.

There have been some songs with religious overtones that made it into pop music – but they aren’t exactly abundant.

If religion is to make a come back here in this country to perhaps save the nation’s culture, you need:

  • Music
  • TV
  • Movies

The three of these then have a BIG part in…..

SHAPING POLICY

If you look at a 50,000 ft view, you can see how the American “right” has always had strong religious undertones and the “left” has had strong secular undertones.  To be fair, there are PLENTY of democrats who are religious.  And I think many of them struggle daily with their belief structures and what is going on in the world around them.

I don’t know a lot about Nicky Minaj. I know she appears to be religious, and she has aligned herself with Trump. But I thought this video was awesome. It has Scott Bissent and Nicky Minaj doing a TikTok short that was going viral based on her song.

Let me quickly state this song has very strong language – but it is telling that this is sort of MAGA branding where you have someone who is religious – but has taken her platform and rap/pop music and applied it to a MAGA platform with the Trump Accounts for children. This video went viral, and I had no idea what the Trump account were. I assume that Bessent, as Secretary of the Treasury, was running this program.

But I want you to look a little deeper here.

You have a pretty black woman who supports Trump, the racist.  You have an openly gay man who wildly supports Trump, the homophobe.  This is to create a buzz for Trump accounts.

This policy means the US government – for ANY child who is a citizen – will seed an account for a child for $1000.  This $1000 is US taxpayer money invested into AMERICAN COMPANIES.  So now every family can root for the success of American companies, because your children essentially are being given shares of their companies in a form of index fund.  Think about that.  Every American company who re-shores jobs here.  Who can build factories here.  Who hire American worker HERE – directly can contribute to your child’s retirement plan.  You can contribute up to $5,000 per year for the child to accelerate the compounding interest.  Doing nothing – that child may have an account of $243,000 by the time they are 55.  If you contribute the max of $5000 per year, or $600 per month, that child will have $13M by the age of 55. 

This can potentially remove the entire concept of social security.  And the government contribution of $1,000 to seed it is pennies – and avoids the government having to house and feed senior citizens 70 years from now.  And – this money is invested in American companies – so if I was to contribute $600 per month for my child, this is going into the Index Fund of these American companies – and this can allow them to issue more shares to expand and grow without borrowing tons of money and having debt.  Which makes them stronger financially!!

But get this – it looks like a lot of this $1000 seed money is PRIVATELY funded.

I bring this up because this is a powerful MAGA message.  Companies and donors want this program to work so ALL American children are provided this at birth.  It fuels our economy.  It is GOOD FOR ALL. 

It was being delivered by a gay man and a black woman who is super religious who has a lot of modern cultural influences. 

The left slams this as “Trump vanity” with naming it after himself.  While that is a fair point on the name, you can’t get the left to admit anything good about the program. 

And this “left” may end up shrinking themselves.  Even die hard TDS liberal dem Bill Maher has at least softened his TDS stance and given him credit for some thing – while BEING ABLE TO CRITICIZE POLICY FARILY. 

Our road back to healing in this country needs to be to stop demonizing scary orange guy.  But we need to so this by reaching moderate and sane democrats who can openly disagree about policy. 

I could not reach my left friends through honest debate. 

What MAGA did was present figures to roll out policy that should be good for every American born child to use media to influence the masses. 

With my spiritual walkabout, when I saw what the aftermath of Kirk was on the left – I was deeply depressed because I realized that there was no ability to talk one on one with millions of broken people who legitimately though Kirk was a Nazi – due to all of the gaslighting over the years. 

I started to realize that the only way to heal this nation then was through popular culture. I voted with my wallet.  I bought shares in Angel Studios.  I saw the movie twice in theaters (Homestead), and bought the lottery ticket thing they had for a Homestead.   I paid for a yearly subscription to their service, and I am going to start watching some of the content they have soon as I am tackling Job at the moment and want a better understanding of the book before I just throw myself into this. 

I believe that anyone who supports the Judeo Christian way of life here should support Angel studios.  See their movies in theaters.  Buy shares in their company (disclaimer, I own shares) and buy their streaming service so you can show this content to your children to start to appreciate Judeo Christian values. 

My mission in life on Facebook for years was to debate a lot of people.  I was on a debate team in HS and love sharing of ideas.  I came to the Republican party BECAUSE of Trump.  I came there because I saw how unfairly Obama’s admin was treating Christian charities.  The final straw for me was when “palettes of cash” went to Iran, and then released $30B in sanctions on Iran.  This essentially funded the Oct 7th attacks on Israel as well as paid for more of the uranium enrichment plans. 

What I feel now is that Christians and Jews – and even moderate Muslims in this country, need to band together to support culture that reflects Judeo Christian beliefs.  When MAGA markets things – it needs to be delivered with pop culture.  It needs to show the diversity we do have under this tent, and by doing so, attract liberal and moderate dems to support policies that are good for the country and get things back to a POLICY discussion and not calling someone Hitler and screeching 24×7 with TDS. 

The moment you realize modern culture has poisoned you against MAGA to support the secular deity of the swamp government and deficit spending, the quicker you realize that smaller government and no debt is the Christian way to live. 

STOP coveting things. 

Finding a church

One of the benefits of this spiritual walkabout is that during this – I learned my cousin Steph had been talking about me to her congregation about 2.5 hours away.  She is three years younger than me, and she grew up close to me in the sense that we saw each other all the time – and she was like a bratty little sister.  All of us cousins sort of grew up as siblings. 

Over the years, we all sort of grew apart.  My maternal grandparents were the glue, and when they started getting up there in age, my mom started hosting family things.  My mother passed just over 6 years ago, and more and more distance came between all of us. 

But with this process, I am thankful and grateful to have had a lot of difficult conversations with Steph.  I posted things that were things good for the country in a bi-partisan matter, and then someone would call me names, and I would get upset.  On the side, my cousin was genuinely curious how I could support Trump.  I lashed out thinking this was another far lefty on Facebook supporting large government and massive deficit spending who wanted to shame me away from my support from really good policies for this country.  We did clash – but we kept talking. AS we kept talking – we kept talking in good faith that we cared about each other. The Republicans I know don’t care who you vote for – as long as you stay away from their kids. Most democrats I know take moral exception of my existence and genuinely think Hitler in is office and some have insinuated I and ice are SS or are in some sort of weak-minded cult. My anger was that none of them seemed to ask WHY I supported Trump, and Steph was the first person in many years to lean in and genuinely ask the WHY. So my defenses were up when we began. I loved my cousin but it had been a long time since I picked on her in the back yard. Politics change. People change. And it was nice to have that conversation.

Much of my anger these days is seeing how the media has been actively poisoning a population. This is yesterday’s news headlines, with the items in red negative towards Trump, the yellow was neutral, and the green was good – it’s hard to see the green, but it was a small headline that said “Swallwell resigns from Congress” which omitted the fact he is accused of drugging and raping women. So when I talk to most people on the left, it’s mostly trying to de-program them from their perception of the news. If you frame this as readers worshipping “the secular deity of The Church of the Swamp Monster” you then start to be able to frame this differently.

It is FAIR for people who are deeply religious to not like Trump – the character you see on TV.  It is FAIR to assess he does not present a Christian way of life.  I countered in the sense that I am highly driven by policy, and when you dig deep into policy, it was something I supported.  I pointed out that Trump and half of his cabinet and half of his supporters are all former dems.  I tried to point out the machine that is culture and the media was indeed weaponized against this man.  But why???

When you understand I support the POLICIES of Trump, and accept him as a sinner, and an imperfect man who stumbles at times – you see that I have been consistent for the last 28 years.

If you see the above – you understand I vote on POLICY. I am, and always have been a centrist. And I have been called “far right” more times – directly and indirectly – than I can count. This is ACTUALLY me.

Because Trump threatened the machine that was marching towards a fully secular Marxist and Godless nation that promoted debt, greed, and hedonism over the values of the family.  POLICY was to shrink the massive size of government and reduce spending.  To get GOVERNMENT out of raising our children – they removed religion to then insert secular deities and Marxist tactics that were meant to drive religion out of society and seize power using state control.  I pointed out that guns were necessary to protect the first amendment – and pointed out how POLICY under Biden then had people no longer allowed to attend church, but they were able to attend BLM protests with thousands of people.  POLICY closed all small businesses, and allowed UBER RICH people to suck up the $6T of DEFICIT SPENDING caused by COVID. 

I am DEFENDING Christianity by promoting the policies I do. I have always been an ally to Christians. When Charlie Kirk was murdered, it changed how I felt about the far left. While I had seen the purple hair and blue haired people as troubled, led wrong, or hurting emotionally, I had never seen them as EVIL until hundreds of thousands of them danced and had tears of joy over his death.  It cemented what I knew to be true – the media had won their psyops campaign over millions of people to worship the “Church of the Swamp Monster”.  It felt that demonic and satanic forces prevailed, and the beginning of the end of the moral fabric of our nation was upon us.   

My politics aside – now starting my spiritual journey, I am also trying to find a place to call home.  I am not at “worship” yet, as I still have not come to terms with that concept.  But I want to find a community that shares my Judeo Chistian values.  I want to help.  I want to serve my fellow man.  And – in moving from a SECULAR religion to a CHRISTIAN religion, I wish to be someone who can HELP the community and not take from it. 

My cousin and I kept talking, and when she shared a sermon she did in early January and mentioned me by name, I got instant goose bumps and tears came in half a second.  It hit me like a bus at 800 mph. 

What this process has done is allow two people who have different political views to be able to “break bread” of sorts.  Discuss things about how Jesus may have lived.  She is very much in the compassionate corner of wanting to help everyone.  I come from a national security background of trying to protect our nation from murderous people who want to shoot up schools and bomb innocent people.  I understand her passion for helping those in need.  All I ask for is an understanding that we must also protect our nation from potentially harmful people – AND MARXIST SECULAR INFLUENCES that will burn down this nation from the inside, if left unchecked. 

But finding a church started to look difficult.  Why???

I had no idea churches had become so political.  I started to want to just find “good Christian people” where we don’t talk about politics.  We learn about things through sermons.  Play on a softball league.  Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity. 

I was in for a very deep surprise. 

I was raised in a UCC, and with this, I knew that over the years, it had become a church that was tolerant of gays.  My brother is gay, and I could not stomach sitting in a church when younger for any reason and being surrounded by people who thought my brother was going to burn in Hell.  While I most definitely support LGBT rights (as do a lot of MAGA), I didn’t want a church that was rainbow up and down.  I wanted a “standard” church that doesn’t CARE about any of that.  I don’t want to be indoctrinated into any political positions, so if I looked at a church and there were all kinds of rainbow flags everywhere, to me it seemed like a political movement.  I think it’s great they have them, as many people probably feel with “traditional” churches that they are left out and isolated.   

Looking for churches has been harder than I thought.  I just thought for the most part they had different degrees of strength with Jesus Juice.  Some went 100 proof, some were light beer.  I was trying to find a light beer variety, as I wanted to find a local community that would not want my brother stoned to death.  My brother and I are far off politically – by a lot – and he worships the Church of the Swamp Monster – but I also understand the HATE he has seen from those who drink the 100 proof.  So I don’t want to be lectured at church that my brother is going to Hell, despite the fact that the man loves with his whole heart. 

But what I found kind of bothered me.  Many of these churches were very activist politically.  I don’t want to be lectured for 2 hours on LGBTQ propaganda and march.  I don’t want to be lectured about how evil those who are gay are.  I want to sit, in peace, and hear a lecture about how Jesus lived and how he cared for the poor and downtrodden, and try to get examples of how to live a better live to serve my family, my community, and mankind. 

I don’t care if I go to a light beer church and there are purple hair people who march.  You do you.  I have no issue with that.  But expecting me to do this as part of being a member of the church is not acceptable to me.  If you go to a light beer church but still think gays are sinners, but you love them and treat them just as any other person, I can live with that as long as you aren’t marching against them.  The pro-life/pro-choice matter is such a gray area for so many people, that it’s not easy to just pick a side.  I can understand the plight of both sides, and I want to value life when possible – but I stop at trying to ban it around the nation for any reason. 

I have always been a strong advocate of how the Constitution was set up, and with that, there was a competition of ideas – a free market of ideas – left to the states by the Constitution.  That is, if one state had policies that were friendly to what we no consider the left, people would move there, and vote within states and communities the policies that worked well for them.  Meaning, “states rights” and “minimal federal government” has ALWAYS been my position.  We have “the supremacy clause” where FEDERAL law is SUPREME.  But the idea is – and always was – to have MINIMUM federal control over those in all states.  The Constitution is the most beautiful government document ever written. 

I believe that the Church of the Swamp Monster wishes to control you – and remove the ability for people to worship how they see fit, and the closure of the churches during COVID while BLM marches happened are clear and convincing evidence of this. 

I feel in my heart that Federal Government should be there to protect us – from enemies foreign and domestic. I believe it makes sense for them to centrally run an economy.  But for MORAL purposes, my positions have always been clear, where I believe the power of the STATE and LOCAL COMMUNITY is supreme.  At issue, is the Church of the Swamp Monster needs money.  It needs power. 

And the only man in my life that appears to want to give CONTROL back to the STATE and your LOCAL COMMUNITY is and has been Donald J. Trump.  Find me another president in the last 100 years that has ran on attacking this church? 

Trump wants the blue hairs to live in peace in California.  Have your abortions.  Have your 60% tax rate.  Do your wealth taxes.  But when you try and franchise this at the federal level – you run up against those who are moral police on the right.   Likewise, if you are Alabama and want no abortions and like Florida with no state income taxes – and both which to rely on the church for moral support – franchising this at the federal level goes against all of the Blue Hairs.

The solution? 

Tear down the church of the Swamp Monster and prevent it from ever being rebuilt again.  This means you need to attach the fascist relationship between big business and media and government.  You must tear down the agencies that wish to rule you by secular bureaucrats – given the power of Kings, unchecked.  The reversal of the Chevron Doctrine was the most important Supreme Court battle in my lifetime because this is the teeth and chainsaw needed to tear down the very agencies that try and rule you from Washington.  It became a city of massive and unchecked power – filled with PACs, government agencies, corruption, and influence. Trump has talked about moving these agencies from DC.  De-centralize this all through the states – so this concentrated power is removed.

He wants you to have your Blue Hair paradise in California without bothering those in Florida.  And – he is not a far rightist.  He doesn’t want the religious values of the deep south to be forced upon those in NY or CA. 

He wants you to be powerful as a state.  He wants you involved in your local community to build and shape your local churches.  Unchecked by federal power. 

And who thought finding a local church that isn’t political would be so hard?  I think I found a nice Light Beer church near me – which respects the blue hairs and loves them.  But also welcomes those who advocate for enforcing the laws on the books to protect society and Judeo Christian beliefs.
