At my core, I’m a simple person. Growing up, my desires leaned towards having a modest house in the woods, chopping wood wearing a flannel shirt, jeans, and boots, and raising a loving family. Chickens were running around, I was picking apples from an apple tree, and my wife was lovingly making an apple pie. I was sitting by the fire, overlooking the valley scenery on a brisk mid October morning, with the “fruity pebbles” look of trees presenting every color nature could imagine. I am sipping my coffee. Later in the day, I will take a book from my library and read by the fire place with a blanket on me.
This was my dream from being a small child. It still is, at 50.
The hamster wheel
But to get this dream, many of us have to work our whole lives just to get there. Years of college. Years of slaving late nights. Years of sacrifice. Only to maybe get moments of that dream, before we are pulled back into the reality of responsibility, chaos, and noise. Constant noise. Constant energy drained from you. You seek to recharge as often as you can by stepping into your oasis – only to deal with even more noise and chaos upon return.
Whether you dream of living by the beach, van life by the river, or share my mountain dream – all of us are indoctrinated into what life is SUPPOSED to be. We are supposed to get high marks. Get into a good college. Get a great career. Work hard. Go to graduate school. Buy the massive house. The fancy cars. Do extravagant vacations. Expensive date nights. Designer clothing. There is never enough to satiate others. And, if you participate in this hamster wheel, it is damn near impossible to ever get off of it.
My advice to young people is to never get on to the hamster wheel. Read the bible. Understand love. Find someone who doesn’t need to impress their friends on social media and wants to sit next to you in silence overlooking that valley and soaking in the simple life.
The problem is, American society has becoming exponentially harder to navigate. Younger men – perhaps up to 30 million of them in this country, will never get married and have children. They are being priced out of being a suitable mate. Women increasingly are gravitating towards those that are super rich. Super fit. And – super tall. That is, in this society today – women are being programmed to go after 6-6-6. The devil’s number. Six feet tall, six figure income, and a six pack. The number of men in the population that possess these traits are about 0.5%, at the high end of estimations. Many of these are married and off the market. Meaning, statistically, about 1 in 500 men in this country are deemed as suitable for women today. If you watch the YouTube videos out there, you then see perhaps 80% of women all chasing these same 1 in 500 men. To make it simpler to think about – let’s round this up to 1 in 100.
100 years ago, women and men lived in small towns, and you grew up knowing all of your options and their families. My great grandparents married at 16/15, grandparents at 20/18, parents at 27/22, and I married my youngest son’s mother at 37 where my wife was 32. Men have to spend more and more time in college and at the office to accumulate those high paying jobs. I am evidence of that with about 11 years of college, and perhaps 15+ years of long hours and long commutes.
My dream is to get off the hamster wheel and live a simpler life. But there’s problems with that.
- 1) Debt. We are told to buy the big house, to buy the fancy cars. Get solar. Consume. Buy. You “need” things. No you don’t. This is all social construct telling you that you “need” all of this. And, to an extent, if you do not want to end up as one of the 30 million unpartnered men in this country – you have to take on debt.
- 2) Medical insurance. In this country, you essentially have to work for someone to get medical insurance, or pay out the teeth yourself. One can argue that if you have incredible means, you do not need health insurance. You just pay cash prices. For all but the top .1% in this country, that’s not reality. So we have to slave away to work for someone else.
- 3) College. No one paid for my college. But now, it’s expected that parents pay for their kid’s college. I will gladly do so, except my college cost $7,000 a year and now the same college I went to 30 years ago is $42,000.
- 4) food, clothing, basics. Unless I have income streams, I starve.
- 5) Property taxes. In this country, even if you pay off your house, you still need to pay property taxes or else the government can seize your home. Even if you have no mortgage, you STILL need to keep paying or you lose it.
- 6) expectations put on you. Now, you have to provide all of these luxurious vacations and maintain your home with the nicest stuff, or else you aren’t worthy of love anymore. Our society now places expectations on people that they must buy the best and maintain at that level, or else you are tossed like garbage.
So our entire system is setup to put people on the hamster wheel. If you understand this, you then have to understand that to get out of the hamster wheel psychology, you have to change society and how it works.
The problem is, in a capitalist society, the government only works on tax revenues. They need a productive society to then steal from them. Every transaction. Every pay check. Property taxes. Even when you die you are taxed. While the capitalist society creates massive amounts of efficiency – and highly rewards over-achievers, the problem with a capitalist society is that a great portion of your society are not overachievers. They may be far lower IQ. Maybe they have an incurable disease that limits their ability to be productive. Maybe some are just dumb. Maybe others have severe impulse control issues and become violent. This means that in any society that is capitalist, you will have those who are left behind.
The solution? Just take from the rich and give to those who don’t have anything. This works – in a sense, if you have a vast majority of the people doing well and only a small percentage not doing well. But when you see “income inequality” happening, those without start being jealous. They get angry. They see people with $500 million yachts and they want them to – or at the very least, they want to take that boat from them, sell it, and take that money to enrich themselves.
Socialism is the reverse of capitalism. While I have demonized socialism here plenty, and rightfully so, the initial thinking of socialism isn’t bad. It’s only when you do something about it does it start to go into the evil side of things. Those who want socialism – for the most part – have empathy and want to help transfer EXCESS financial energy from those who have, to those who do not have. Again – the ideology at this stage is relatable. Understandable. It’s when you use the power of government to take guns, point them at others, shake them down for cash, and then get your beaks wet before you give to others – which presents the problem. To get “rich” in socialism, you need to be one of the people who gets their beaks wet. You then are the transfer agent. You collect from the rich to give to the poor. You see yourself as Robin Hood. The problem is, you are still robbing from someone who did phenomenal things – played by the hamster wheel rules – and gave it to someone who….can’t make it in that system, for any reason. While you appear to be noble, the root issue of this is that more and more people tend to take from a system, and less and less people can get ahead in that system.
Those who work 60 hours a week and went to 11 years of college see others loafing around a house playing video games in their pajamas and say, “enough”.
Class warfare ensues. Capitalist versus socialist.
But AI has changed the game. A lot. Many of you don’t see this yet. Most of my writings are prophecies a few years or decades ahead. What I am seeing now is that there is an exponential curve happening, where more and more careers are going to be wiped out. Replaced by robots. And with this, more and more people are about to be out of work. Rapidly. Like, I don’t think any of you have any idea of what is coming. For most of you, you make funny cat videos and think AI is cute. I have done some really serious work with it, and I can tell you – this is going to wipe out a lot of society. My entire career field will be gone within 5-10 years, and I will be one of the last people in that field because I am one of the few people who will remain that knows how all of the buttons and doo-hickeys works in companies. I hope to be living my mountain paradise by then, but we need to understand what is going to happen.
Let’s first dive into what I’m seeing.
The AI takeover
As stated above, entire professions are going to die. Last year, I built a piece of software with AI that replaced a need for a $100,000 SaaS (software as a service) tool to be purchased. This means a ton of programmers are about to not be needed here. And just as I say this, the US is starting to revoke a lot of H1B visas from India. We imported a ton of these programmers to try and keep costs down, but as these jobs are going to be less and less, we have to disconnect the excess workforce just to keep the industry from collapsing overnight. While there will always be software engineers – those who remain will be those who understand how to use AI to do 100x the work they do now.
I can see the tax code completely simplifying, and most tax people and accountants are gone.
I wrote a piece 6 years ago on the future of education is in modules and online learning. Today, I can create custom videos to help my son learn rapidly, catered to his specific needs and learning style. Furthermore, we can create lectures from MIT and pipe them livestreamed or record and replay at all universities online. My online school grad school was part of the University of Maryland system – and we had a subscription to Harvard and MIT lectures. So we got lectures that you get at the best universities. We got the same reading materials – and our professors were like TAs who graded our papers. You don’t need to get the highest marks to get the best education. Those marks are only to be accepted at a “prestigious” school – so that you can get on the hamster wheel with a college branding. But being accepted to a “better school” doesn’t make you smarter – I had the same lectures as a harvard MBA would – and paid a fraction of the price to get it. So – in reality, education is about to be radically changed, and we now saw how the US wants to create their own online university – and stop allowing students to borrow money for bullshit majors. I just got something in the mail about how Penn State is discontinuing like 70 majors. Why? Because change is coming.
Cars may be battery only at some point. No need for mechanics for the ICE engines.
They are making robots now that can clean your house. No need for cleaning ladies or hotel staff to clean rooms. Automatic piloted cars can remove the need for uber drivers, delivery drivers, or even 18 wheeler drivers. Even the UPS man that drives you – that would be automated and perhaps a drone comes out of the back and drops your packages off.
You even see now how interviews are being done by HR AI models. These are first pass interviews, and those who score better may get the real person in round 2. Or 3. Graphic designers may have lost their careers overnight with AI. I built myself a website for my mountain home at professional level in about 45 minutes. I wanted to learn about specific topics, so I had Claude create me some short videos for me to learn in minutes. My buddy is cheap and didn’t want to hire an AC repairman for $2000, so AI helped him fix his AC for a $30 part he got the next day. Anything you need troubleshot, you can use AI to diagnose.
Now, try calling any help line, and you first talk to AI before being routed. Entire industries of call centers around the world may shutter.
All of these people who are being displaced, what are they going to do for work? Right now – I could make the argument how many fields can disappear inside of 10 years. Look at even construction work. They have “3D printed houses”. They have robots that can be coordinated to build complex items.
Think about trading. Maybe 25 years ago you hired a broker. Then an investment advisor. Now, you can build agents to trade for you that can do things in fractions of a second and have massive returns. The stock market now is nothing but high algo trading. Based off of a lot of newspaper articles and writing that can be AI generated.
The movie industry, almost overnight, will die. My buddy is a writer who worked in Hollywood, and during COVID, the industry was decimated. Now, AI tools are getting better and better. Infomercials and commercials are starting to be AI. Then there will be short films. Then series. Then full featured movies. No actors. No sound stage. No expensive lots. No grips. No directors. No writers. A dude with software with an idea and a few weeks will be able to put together incredible work. No networks. No movie studios. No original music. No orchestras. No singers.
We are about to be cooked.
Star Trek meets the bible
I grew up with my dad being a massive Star Trek fan, and I was maybe 14 when Star Trek, the Next Generation came about. What do we all remember? The food replicator. No one talked about money. Doctors waived fancy devices around and gave an injection in the neck and all was well. The computer on the ship was a super intelligence that monitored everything. You had a few maintenance people. The captain always had amazing quarters. Everyone else had smaller quarters.
In our system now, you have to be productive to get the most basic things – housing, food, and clothing. But imagine that for all of the evil you think of Elon and all of them, consider that what they are doing is creating technology that will provide everyone food, shelter, and clothing. While you are attacking his capitalist wealth and want his money to try to stay on the hamster wheel, he and his ilk are changing the entire system so robots and automation will provide you all of the basics.
While we aren’t anywhere near the food replicator, I want you to consider how a lot of farming now can use automation. Not a lot of it at the moment, but consider how AI and tech can be used for this purpose. 150 years ago farming was with an ox, plow, and manual labor 16 hours a day just to eat. Then the ICE engine and diesel equipment. Genetic enhancement of corn to increase yields. Pesticides. Now infrared tools to kill weeds and bugs. I could argue inside of 10 years, farmers will have the means of having equipment that makes a lot of their lives easier. Perhaps big farm and ag companies buy them out – and then have robot fleets doing this work. Solar is installed everywhere by these bots. Nuclear plants come online to give as much power as needed everywhere.
But this food then gets shipped with automated trucks to processing plants. These plants then take the raw goods and turn these into food. Automated. Every week, those in need get to pick what they need for a shopping list, and every week, a shipment comes to their doorsteps. The nuclear plants are now mostly run by robots. The farms mostly run by robots. Delivery by robots. It is essentially “free” to those in need. No taxpayer money – an entirely new system of distribution. Your energy to cook with comes from those nuclear plants.
Oil is not the boogeyman everyone says it is. The reality is extracting oil and gas requires many thousands of people and expertise that cannot be automated. This is most likely why the push for solar, wind, nuclear, and batteries. Mining can also mostly become automated with battery powered items. Today, diesel is absolutely required. Tomorrow, that may not be the case. I use electric lawn mowers and electric chainsaws. If we have great battery tech and virtually unlimited energy from nuclear – batteries can replace ICE. For the most part. Let’s look 50 more years out and how fusion could then replace nuclear. AI most likely is going to help us solve this quicker.
Remember, just a few days ago – AI solved 700 math problems that completely disrupted the entire math research field.
So food could be something that is more automated and distributed to those in need within 10 years.
What about housing? Well, if we can mine with robots, move things with robots, and print 3D homes with robots – it makes sense that homes for the needy could easily be “printed” and remind you of the homes you see in Star Wars.

What about road work and travel? Elon also runs the Boring company, which digs tunnels and allows for super fast travel. Think about a system where in 10 years, in certain places – cities are mostly underground for commuting. Cities above ground are less polluted. This is probably where the 15 minute cities come from, and if you REALLY think about it, if you have underground systems, you could literally enter them at every block and get to wherever you need to go within 15 minutes. This means you do not need to own a car.
While we have not mastered high speed rail – China has. And with this, you can see a renewed effort for high speed rail between major cities at 300 mph. With this, you may have hub and spokes – so smaller cities can connect to the larger cities rail. If you go beyond rail, think about travel in private pods – like for example, a tesla car inside. You get in, and the car is coordinated with computers and AI to speed up to get into the main lines – so you could perhaps travel at 300 mph from PA to Florida, getting there in 3 hours in your pod. You may be moved with mag lev of sorts, so the pods aren’t powered, the rails are. This may render most airline traffic pointless.
So if you want to vacation or see Florida – and you live in PA, you are simply going to a pod in your local area, loading in some suitcases, and then you are in Florida 3-4 hours later in a comfortable pod. Underground. Pilot-less.
Capitalism today is thinking of the giant mansions. Consider if you want to grow up and be a pilot, you could get access to the bigger and nicer houses. If you do not want to work, you could just get a standard house and rations. Robots run the systems. Those who do work – work for humanity, and with that – they do get nicer houses, better rations, and favorable vacation accommodations. Today, we work 40 hours a week. 10 years from now, we may only need to work 20 hours a week.
But what about the devil’s number and dating? What about societal collapse we are on course for? I believe that the upcoming chaos will have people turning to the bible. Not to suddenly “find Jesus” but because the bible can reset society – and use some of the best lessons of it to focus on a new world ahead.
If you think about capitalism – you can suddenly think “greed”. But what it did was find production inefficiencies and reward innovation. Greed is one of the 7 deadly sins. This society – at its apex, will most undoubtedly create Lust from those who are most successful and have a new partner every other night. You can also see how this society creates massive excess with gluttony. In this society – you also have a CHOICE to be Christian and forego all of this and choose to give all of your excess to others, yet so few actually do this until they die.
However, the flip side of this is socialism. While you believe you are Robin Hood – this entire structure is fueled by envy, wrath, and sloth. Those who do not have what others have – will murder or jail you for it. The wrath comes about when people try to challenge the system and are executed. Likewise, in a socialist society, sloth becomes a thing because anyone who truly works hard looks around and sees everyone else being rewarded the exact same for doing none of the work. In a socialist structure, the government becomes the deity, and all other religions are persecuted.
Now let’s assume AI modernization can essentially become the best of both worlds. People like me who want to live a simple life with a mountain home can do it. Food shipped every week if you need it. Simple clothing made in automated factories and sent on demand. But if I want to keep being productive and live in a nicer home, I can choose to work for these companies who are running everything. I don’t get paid a salary, I just have nicer things. I get “status” for serving the community. We reward secular servant mayors and governors with homes. We reward servants of the church with homes. In an AI future, those who serve mankind will get nicer homes, status, and nicer things. At any point you can choose a life of service, but you would have to learn a ton – from AI crafted modules for your interests and career.
If you go back to the bible – it teaches you purpose in life. It talks about how to treat fellow man. It talks about crime and punishment. And – it talks about a high quality of life to be with God. In some of my other writings, I talked about how the universe most likely has a creator. And because of this – we ourselves may be a simulation or AI. And I believe the goal of this is to create a “perfect society”.
How do we do this? I believe it makes sense to marry capitalism and socialism. Those who have the itch to create or repair or engineer things can do so. They work 10-20 hours a week to contribute, and they get nice rations and homes. Those who are at the tops of these careers get absolutely better homes and rations. Excesses are given to them, and they can store them, pass them on, or give them away. This is their choice for being a productive member of society. Those who may wish to do things like play music, do art, write – should be free to do so, but also be given basic accommodations which allows them to live their lives fully in a passion they choose – and may contribute to society.
In this society, women may ideally choose those with higher status to marry. However, many of them may just want lots of children and live in the mountains with chickens running around with her adoring husband chopping wood and reading the classics. Playing games with their children. Seeing them at their schools, watching their sports. For many people, children will become their lives – and not their careers.
The transition out of pure capitalism in the US, or out of pure socialism in China – or out of the hybrids of Canada – will be a 10-50 year endeavor. Government services will eventually need to provide less and less, which lowers the tax needs. This eliminates school taxes. Food is created better, and people have a lot of time to exercise, so health improves drastically. City living will have pods underground, and air quality will be better. Ingredients to make food will improve with AI. AI can do remote consultations and sensors can help you get immediate care from your home. Medicines can be mass produced in automated factories. Drugs are created by AI and super computers creating compounds and testing. Less work place injuries. Safer design of furniture and homes and less automobiles means less trauma surgeries. Over the next 50 years, everything becomes a lot safer, and eventually, there is no need for health insurance. Things like cancer are cured because we found a bacteria in stomachs of newborns that we killed with vaccines and antibiotics over the years left us vulnerable to these cancers – are cured overnight with this bacteria.
One massive constraint on this is abundance of energy, and the global wars over oil will start to recede when battery tech increases and nuclear energy plants substantially increase. Robots will assist in developing the third world, and with this, global hunger is solved as food networks are setup to get people food they need and robots start to develop farmland and terraform land in third world areas. Homelessness is eliminated due to massive campaigns of 3D printed homes that are powered by all of this abundance of energy.
Likewise – early on we may develop AI with weapons and drones, but eventually, what I believe will happen – is every society will have these weapons. They become a form of mutually assured destruction (MAD) like nuclear weapons. This cements borders for hundreds of years – and likewise, now means no country needs a military. No one would attack you because you have 60 million armed drones stashed all over your borders and with that, anyone who attacks you – those drones may be programmed to take out the top 1000 people in command in another country. This becomes a deterrent – no leader of any country would then attack any other country because doctrine dictates that 60 million drones will take out you and all of your family as you are eating your cheerios in the morning. This massive deterrent is what eventually sparks world peace. While resource disputes may happen, AI will be then at that time kept up to speed on all legal cases in the history of the world going back to Charlemagne and rule on international matters to have fair resolutions to issues.
Purpose in life becomes community, your interests, and family. A hard reset happens. AI becomes the technology that, at first, threatens to wipe out society, but eventually becomes the stabilizing force that unites humanity.
With no money, there is no crime. Those that do take from others are simply removed from the system and expelled into a 1 million acre forest to fend for themselves. There is no need to take from others, as you are not only given everything you need – society has removed envy and greed from it, mostly. There are the carrots there for those who wish to give more – but everyone will have what they need. Those who tend to give and want to give of themselves to the community will attract more mates than those who wish to do nothing. Maybe you give 20 years of your life and then can retire in that nice home. Those who wish to do the bare minimum and get rations are provided for, but this may not attract a mate. Those who are violent or commit crimes are simply removed from society for a period of time. Hopefully, they return and are grateful for a second chance and are law abiding citizens. However – when you look at this over the course of 500 years, humanity may be filled with people who wish to serve and outbreed those who are violent, crime-ridden, and do not wish to contribute to society.
Your “perfect future” of people giving to society with no money involved? Sponsored by AI.
Elon and his flock are not evil. They realize money will never solve the world’s issues. They have to change the system. And until that system is fully matured 10-50 years from now, people like him will most likely accumulate a lot of money, have a lot of children, and turn over their tech empires to their children to use all of the resources at their disposal to finish what he created. You obviously are upset by the $500 million yacht that Bezos owns. 50 years from now there is no need for that level of wealth to attract a mate – so no one will want to try and get that, as society will see it as disgusting. Not something to envy.
Life will change. The system will change. Life will get simpler. The hamster wheel will be gone. Life of service will be an honor. It will be something people want to do for status. But everyone will be taken care of, at the most basic level, by the AI systems being set up today.
